My story

My story began through my own personal journey in self-development. Despite having been in therapy before, my therapeutic experience in 2018 felt different. I entered it with clear intentions - I wanted to take responsibility for my role in the patterns that kept repeating in my life, even though life had thrown its share of challenges my way. As I worked diligently, session after session, through anxiety, unresolved life events, and more, I began noticing rapid growth in self-awareness. But I would eventually come to realise that much of the work had been primarily cognitive, which was a significant and valuable first step in my process, but I still felt stuck.

So what next?

I was aware, yet many of the patterns still held power over my life. Fast forward a few years, and halfway through my Master's in Gestalt Psychotherapy, I was seeking something deeper. That's when I discovered somatic work. Reconnecting with my body was the missing piece. This was the first step in my personal somatic journey, which continues to this day. With this new insight, I pursued somatic studies during the final stages of my master's program whilst continuing to integrate somatic practices into my own personal life.

My work

Professionally, I am a Gestalt psychotherapist who integrates the body as a powerful tool for accessing and healing unprocessed parts of ourselves. All of my work is rooted in parts work, informed by integrative somatic parts training based on the Internal Family Systems model. I offer three options to support clients in navigating attachment struggles, anxiety, nervous system regulation, and other challenges:

  • Therapy: Focusing on emotional and psychological healing using Gestalt techniques such as awareness, acceptance and integration, authentic relating, and present-moment focus.

  • Somatic Coaching: A body-centered approach that promotes nervous system regulation by safely accessing and releasing pain, stuckness, and other struggles. This can be done as a standalone approach or can be used by clients as a modality complimentary to their existing therapeutic journey.

  • A Blend of Both: Combining therapy and somatic coaching to create a tailored, holistic approach that meets each client's unique needs.

In all of my work, my goal is to help clients develop deeper self-awareness, build resilience, and achieve lasting healing.
